About Axcin 500mg

Axcin 500mg Tablet is an antibiotic medication. It is useful for the treatment of several bacterial infections; including intra abdominal infections, infections of bones and joints, skin infections, UTIs, and typhoid fever. Each tablet of Axcin 500mg contains the active ingredient Ciprofloxacin, which is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic.

What dose should I choose?

In adults, the usual dose is 1 Tablet (500 mg) taken twice a day orally.

In children, the usual dose is 20 mg/kg of body weight taken twice a day orally.

The dose must not exceed 750mg in 24 hours.
