Each tablet of Famopsin 40mg contains the active ingredient Famotidine, which is known as an H2 Blocker.

What dose should I choose?

For the treatment of duodenal ulcers in adults, the usual dose is 1 tablet (40 mg) taken orally once every day before going to bed. 

For the treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, the usual dose is ½ tablet (20 mg) taken orally every 6 hours.

For the treatment of reflux oesophagitis in adults, the usual dose is ½ tablet (20 mg) taken orally once per day. 

Famopsin 40mg is not recommended for use in children. 

If you skip a dose by any chance, take it as soon as you remember. Skip the already missed dose if it’s almost time for the next one. Do not double the dose. 

What are the side-effects and other warnings when taking Famopsin 40mg?

Some common and uncommon side-effects when taking Famopsin 40mg include:
