Polyfax 6g Eye Ointment helps treat eye infections. It is helpful for the treatment of bacterial infections only. Polyfax 6g Ointment is not helpful for viral infections. It treats sores and infections in the eye. Its use can prevent bacterial infection of the eye.

Polyfax 6g Eye Ointment is an effective treatment for infections in the eye. It contains two drugs. Polyfax 6g Eye Ointment is a combination of Polymyxin B 10000IU and Bacitracin 500IU. Polymyxin B is an antibiotic. It acts by killing the bacteria in the affected eye(s). Bacitracin 500IU is also a type of antibacterial which work by killing bacteria. It is helpful against Gram-negative bacteria.
