About Salnon

Salnon is used to control and prevent symptoms (wheezing and shortness of breath) caused by asthma attacks or ongoing lung disease. Lung disease due to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease- COPD, includes chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Salnon belongs to a class of medicines called bronchodilators. Bronchodilators help manage bronchospasm (narrowing of the tubes to the lungs caused by muscle spasm) by opening up air passages in the lungs for up to 4 – 6 hours after administration.

How effective is Salnon?

Salnon inhaler acts as a ‘reliever’ that helps you to use other medicines as a ‘preventer’ to prevent from having an asthma attack. You can use your preventer with your Salnon inhaler. It is helpful for both adults and children. It helps to treat asthma attacks and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD) such as chronic bronchitis and emphysema. It contains Salbutamol 100mcg , Beclomethasone Dipropionate 50mcg.

What dose should I choose?

The standard dosage for children under the age of 12 years is one inhalation (100 micrograms). The dose may increase to two inhalations (200 micrograms) if required. The usual dosage for adults is up to two inhalations 4 times a day.
