Sofvasc HCT 5/160/12.5mg Tablet is used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina pain. Angina pain occurs when heart muscles do not get enough oxygen-rich blood. By lowering high blood pressure, this medicine prevents kidney problems, heart attacks, and strokes.

Sofvasc HCT 5/160/12.5mg Tablet is composed of Amlodipine + Valsartan + Hydrochlorothiazide. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker drug that works by slowing the movement of calcium in the blood vessels. Valsartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker that relaxes blood vessels and makes blood flow easier. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic (water pill) that causes you to urinate more and get rid of extra water and salt in the body.
