Telmisartan belongs to a group of medicines known as angiotensin receptor blockers ARB), which show effectiveness by relaxing the blood vessels. Amlodipine belongs to a group of medicines known as calcium channel blockers, which show effectiveness by preventing calcium from entering the cells of the heart. Telmis A 80mg/5mg Tablet also helps to prevent heart attacks, strokes, and kidney problems by lowering high blood pressure.
