Vilcret Plus 50/500mg Tablet is an oral anti-diabetic drug used to lower the raised blood sugar levels. It contains Vildagliptin and Metformin as active ingredients. Vildagliptin belongs to the DPP4 inhibitors class, and Metformin belongs to the Biguanides class of drugs. Vildagliptin works by naturally increasing the incretins levels, which helps lower the blood sugar levels and increase insulin in the body.
